Babalao Bungalows - Nungwi

Babalao Bungalows is such a gem! Max and Elena. The beach is just a few minutes away, and the barbecue night with African dancing was super fun. Cozy rooms, but the Wi-Fi could use some work. A fantastic stay!

Had a fine stay for other activities in the mean time, glad I've chosen it.

the total stay was comfortable with organizing tours and helping you plan the vacation. thanks to the polite staff everything was excellent, including a wide array of fabulous food. a safe box, a dining area and a seating area were available in our double room. this accommodation was in the very central location right next to everything.

Babalao Bungalows offers a relaxed atmosphere with a cozy swimming pool. The Wi-Fi connection could improve though.

it's a fabulous boutique hotel with extremely spacious and bright rooms. the location is marvellous and personnel is enthusiastic.

The breakfast was very tasty and great with reasonable prices; the staff was caring. Location: the hotel was adjacent to the most beautiful beach with many restaurants and shops, and the best taxidrivers and restaurants.

A good escape where tranquility meets comfort! The rooms are immaculate, equipped with air conditioning and thoughtfully designed to ensure a good night's sleep. Just a short stroll from the beach, the daily breakfast offering was lovely and varied. The hospitable hosts provided excellent guidance to enhance our experience. Perfect for a relaxing retreat!

The warm hospitality immediately. The spacious beautiful double room showcased a good blend of traditional Zanzibari architecture and modern comforts. Just a 2-minute walk to the beach, it was perfect for sunbathing and swimming in the gorgeous turquoise waters. The on-site restaurant exceeded my expectations, offering delicious seafood and local dishes made from fresh organic ingredients. I particularly loved the excellent breakfast spread, with both local and international choices. One minor downside was that the Wi-Fi wasn't very reliable, hard to stay connected. The relaxed vibe and beautiful surroundings more than made up for that. I can't recommend Babalao Bungalows enough if you're looking for a serene getaway with amazing food and a cozy atmosphere.

This place was a real find, 2 minutes from the beach! Breakfast was varied and plentiful every day. They organized a live band one night, had a lot of fun.

Not the cheapest place I've stayed, but honestly it was acceptable.
